This was my first cake of 2011. It is a 9" Square cake with fondant. The inside is a 2 layer vanilla cake with whipped cream filling. I was asked to make a birthday cake for someone who liked pink and I decided on the pink gift box. It took me longer than expected to finish this cake. Looks easy but I still have some kinks to work out for the next gift box cake. Tip#1 this year for me to remember- make all bows 1 day in advance ;)
